Rack-Straps Terms of Service: Purchase & Product Use Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all purchases and use of products and services offered by Rack-Straps, a brand of Webb Capital Corp. (“Rack-Straps,” “we,” “us”), through rack-straps.com. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

1. Products and Intended Use

Rack-Strap® ladder rack tie-down systems, cinch straps, ratchet straps, and mounting brackets sold on this site are commercial-grade cargo securement products designed for use on contractor vehicles, service trucks, and fleet vehicles equipped with ladder rack systems. Products are designed to secure ladders, pipe, lumber, conduit, and similar cargo to pipe-style ladder racks with round pipe OD ranging from 1.25″ to 2.00″.

These products are not rated for towing, overhead lifting, personnel restraint, or any application other than vehicle cargo securement. Misuse outside rated working load limits voids all warranties and releases Rack-Straps from liability.

2. DOT Cargo Securement Compliance — Customer Responsibility

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations under 49 CFR Part 393 govern cargo securement on commercial vehicles. It is the sole responsibility of the vehicle operator, fleet manager, or owner-operator to:

  • Determine whether their vehicle and cargo load require compliance with 49 CFR 393.100–393.136
  • Select the correct Rack-Strap® model and quantity to meet the applicable Working Load Limit (WLL) requirements for their load
  • Inspect tie-down assemblies before each trip per FMCSA inspection standards
  • Replace worn, cut, or chemically degraded tie-downs before further use

Rack-Straps provides product WLL ratings and general application guidance on product pages, but does not provide compliance certification services. When in doubt, consult a qualified transportation safety professional or your fleet’s safety officer.

3. Pricing, Orders, and Payment

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders with pricing errors before shipment and issue a full refund
  • For fleet and bulk orders, custom pricing is available; quoted prices are valid for 30 days from issuance
  • Sales tax is collected in applicable jurisdictions per our tax nexus obligations
  • Payment is charged at time of order submission

4. Product Fitment and Compatibility

Our mounting brackets are designed for specific pipe OD ranges. Verify compatibility before ordering:

  • 1.25″ OD pipe — Use brackets specified for 1-1/4″ nominal round pipe
  • 1.50″ OD pipe — Use brackets specified for 1-1/2″ nominal round pipe
  • 1.75″ OD pipe — Confirm with our sales team at 800-886-4926
  • 2.00″ OD pipe — Use brackets specified for 2″ nominal round pipe

If you are unsure which bracket fits your rack, contact us before ordering. We cannot guarantee compatibility on non-standard rack configurations. Browse available options in our product catalog.

5. Intellectual Property

Rack-Strap® is a registered trademark of Webb Capital Corp. All product names, descriptions, images, and technical documentation on this website are proprietary. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of our content, images, or trademarks is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rack-Straps’ total liability for any claim arising from a product purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including cargo loss, vehicle damage, fines or citations, or third-party claims resulting from improper installation or use of our products.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in Dallas County, Texas.
